- Students talk with each other about their research a lot, so the lab feels lively and active.
- Why did you choose this lab?
- I'm interested in network security, and the lab runs a seminar on it.
- Current research topic
- Measurement study of BIMI, an email security technology
- How often I come to the lab
- Twice a week
- Advice on grad school & job hunting
- Being able to join a seminar in my field of interest right after being assigned to the lab really helped me in job hunting. Many interviews happen while you're still in your 3rd year, so starting research early and being able to talk about it concretely made a big difference. Starting early also opens up options like presenting at academic conferences, which makes for a really worthwhile experience as a student.
